Senior Trip 2025 is a week-long experiential learning and celebratory program designed for graduating students, scheduled for May 15–18, 2025. This project provides students with the opportunity to engage in a range of enriching activities, including ziplining, horseback riding, team-based recreational activities, and group living experiences. The trip combines fun, outdoor adventures with opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and reflection as students celebrate their high school accomplishments.
Students will stay in shared accommodations, prepare communal meals, and participate in group outings designed to foster camaraderie and a sense of community. The trip offers students a unique chance to create lifelong memories while practicing valuable life skills such as collaboration, communication, and adaptability.

Final house selection will depend on availability and group preferences. Also, the rental house offers 10% off activities at Sunriver Resort.
Food Costs:
Per Diem (if eating out): $25/person x 3 meals/day x 7 people = $525/person or if eating out once a day: $175/person
Purchase bulk groceries from Costco and/or have Ed Sanchez provide basic ingredients for meals prepared at the rental house. (Most likely we will not eat out everyday.)
Transportation Costs:
Gas Money: $200 (estimated)
Total Estimated Costs: The total estimated cost for the senior trip, using one rental house (3 Rhododendron Lane) instead of multiple houses, is **$2,901** excluding fees and taxes for the rental house. We are hoping to have extra funds to account for all expenses, including a buffer for emergencies or unforeseen events.

Project Reporting and Accountability
Kaelyn Cartwright, who is currently serving as the registrar, IEP coordinator, and Senior sponsor, will be responsible for reporting the outcomes of the Senior Trip 2025 to FOSD. She will compile and submit a comprehensive report detailing the trip’s activities, student experiences, and the use of funds.
Kaelyn will also be accountable for ensuring that the report is submitted to FOSD within sixty (60) days of the completion of the project.
